Customer who spam
Yes, I had such customers before.
Let me present the 2 case studies Case Study 1 Customer A subsribe to a standard plans, and later upgrade to our professional plans. And later we found out from our provider that they had use the domain name that is registered thru us to spams thousands of emails. Their services is immediately terminated with no refunds been made. Then months later I get another email spamming from the same people using another domain name. What a small world Case Study 2 Customer B applies for a hosting plan with us and we registered it for them. 1-2 days later I received many emails concerning thisd particular customer whereby he had created a fake Paypal form or whatever , where sole purpose is to trick others into entering their Paypal username as well as password and send to him. I immediately terminate his account , follow by removing our name from their domain name's technical contact as well as informing thoese who are affected that we are indeed looking into it. So be careful and monitor closely, these people could be using your server for illegal purpose that might get us into trouble. |

You wouldn't really get it trouble.
You are a service provider, and are not responsible for the content. Hopefully, that's in your terms somewhere.

Exactly - these kinds of action will result in the blacklisting of the IP - and in the 2nd case, I was working with Steven and the site / domain was shutdown in less than 2 hours so, swift action was taken and the IP was not blacklisted.
It only goes to show that there are individuals that are out to earn, what I term, "DISHONEST DOLLARS" .. so providers, please be warned.

Having it in your TOS would absolve you of legal troubles. Technically, it is best that spammers aren't on a server that serves normal users.
