I run a small webhosting website for enduser with only 10 customers as a reseller.

Recently, one of my customer wanted to be a reseller and approached me. After upgraded to a higher plan with more diskspace and bandwidth, I offer him the service.

Now than I am facing a serious problem. According to my provider, I only have one WHM. So, there is no way my clients could offer reselling service.

I am stuck now and check with a couple of webhosting provider, I received the same feedback. No way I can offer clients who are into reselling.

Is there any alternative or solution?

may be you can upgrade his plan to multiple domain plan instead of giving him reseller plan ??

How to do it? Is there any difference on multiple domain and reseller?

Does that mean, I will create accounts for him instead of he do it himself?

Please advise me through email or PM.

Thanks for your valuable advise, once again.

IMO ... speak to your host provider - paint to him the situation and honestly tell him what has happen...

you would like to upgrade your customer to a reseller account - for which you will be responsible for.... I'm sure your provider will be glad to accomodate that ....

As far as I know, it is not a part of WHM functionality to offer WHM access to the reseller's clients. Only the reseller will have the rights to add the domain.

definitely agree with what NEUTRALWEB-AL has said - that's the sole reason why HUGODUKE has to approach his web host provider to upgrade his customer to reseller status - complete with WHM etc ...

HUGODUKE would not be able to this on his own as this requires ROOT access.

Ask your provider whether they are running the latest bleeding-edge build of CPanel. If they are, it is possible to transfer accounts without having root access. All you need is to have the respective account's password in order to perform the transfer. However, chances are they will not be running that version due to certain bugs yet to be fixed. Its a test build as well.
