i have a wbb2.0.2 forum here..and i wanna convert to ipb, but i only find a convertor wbb2 > ipb 1.0, what should i do ? :bowdown:

Have you tried yet? If not, I advise you to try first since it's only a build different so I don't think that should be anything much change except maybe for some bug fixes :)

but 1.2 got a different skinning system.. =/

You can always convert to 1.0 first and then upgrade to 1.2 right? lol :D

No problem :) If I know something, I will just post what I know. But if I don't, then I will try to assist. There is always someone better and in the process, I am also learning new things :D Anyway, I have a feeling this thread is going to get moved soon...try to post in the right forum next time or else the admins/mods will be kept busy lol

Not from WBB to IPB at least lol :D But shouldn't it be quite simple? Don't they have a step-by-step guide to it? :) By the way, which converter are you using?

What kind of errors did you encounter? Was it errors in IPB itself or is it in WBB2? Or even maybe the converter? :)

He PMed me with the link to the converter but I don't want to post it here without his permission lol :D Unless he posts it himself or allow me to do it. Anyway, I can highlight the error he got on the site here:
Error: mySQL query error: DELETE FROM ibf_attachments

MySQL error: Table 'sgtalk_sgtalk.ibf_attachments' doesn't exist
I believe it's something to do with the settings of the script. I have since replied him by have not got any reply yet...so, we will just have to wait for his news :)
