Hi,

Pretty simple question really.

How many do you all actually generate income through SGWHT? You can vote in the poll if you do not wished to divulge.

Where do you generate most of your other leads, if know? ie. advertising, search engines, google adwords (works for some) etc.

Regards,
Marcus Lau.

One of the advertising way obviously is to create and post more quality threads. Users are convince on your content and how you lift up you and your company confidently.

However there are more ways depends on how you do it? Why do you try killing some of your brain cells thinking about it?

Yes, Marcus, i agree with that. :D I think that's how SG.GS benefitted from? Whenever we mention about corporate hosting, at least for me, the first company i'll think of is SG.GS.

I must say this place isn't my primary source of new clients and these who signed up definately do not make up a large part of my income.

Hi zoomer,

Thats what i hope to hear because we can learn and understand the web provider point of view but we are glad that we serve as one of the media or terminal to give web providers exposure and really hope that you can generate clients out from SGWHT.

Thank!

I find SGWHT a good place to understand the webhosting industry in singapore and it's great that instead of having fierce competition on this board, there's some 'co-opetition' in the sense that people are helping each other out and exchanging ideas although they are providing similar services and probably competing for the same clients. The exposure that the webhosts get is definitely good for generating business. And potential clients get a rough understanding of your business ethics and reliability.

But I wonder if this is a good place to generate business like through the advertising section. In a way, I think the advertising section gives people the push to compare hosts by 'price' instead of services provided. I might be wrong though.

How many webhosts actually mention sgwebhostingtalk to potential clients anyway? I doubt few would, given that they might even lose the business if the client is spoilt for choice... :D
