It would be nice if Sgwebhostingtalk have a site?
Make it like a benchmark info site..server-side scripting comparisons, and latest updates from eg. MySQL..PHP. It can also have a feature of webhost of the month of something. You guys can have a source of revenue from adverts from them!! Make it local! :) Just suggestions.

good suggestion but the hours to develop and upkeep this would be terrible...

as it is, CHIN and myself have our hands full ... SGWHT is not our only part-time project... he's got his SAN-GUO thingee going on and as for me ... I have my hands in TOO many things...

Any body what to take up the idea and build us a web site ? We could discuss some terms ... right CHIN ?

by all means, but try not to re-invent the wheel. a lot of resources are already available and maybe we can simply give the links.

Not to mention that the user base for SGWHT is quite low. By actually putting up all that stuff you're going to be wondering who's going to read that when we like have only 60+ users after intensive recruitment?

I think keeping this forum archived is a better solution. One search can show everything we want to know, something like WHT.

Well this is really a good idea.

We can made use of some sort of CMS system for articles management.

Also monthly feature on local web host is a good idea, whereby we can "interview" them about their compnay, visions...latest news

Thanks for the offer.

However we will wait for vB3 to be released as well as maybe vBCMS to be released before we can decide on anything.

Hi wallstreat,

Its really wonderful to see you taking the initiative by offering us a helping hand.

With regards to the CMS issues, we are looking into various CMS which will blend well technically and visually. Therefore, we are still in the consideration phase, however be sure that SGWHT will have a CMS in time to come.

Thanks everyone for you kind attention and cheers!

Best regards,
Marcus Lau.
