View Full Version : Mailing list script/software??
Anyone had good free mailing list script to recommend?
I am sure with some monthly newsletter, we can communicate better with our clients.
I've seen this used in a few places.

And I think the monthly newsletter is a great idea! :D
Cool, maybe I should install it...
You can try mojo mail.
They have a feature where the amount of mail sent per day is limited to a limit that you can set, so it should be friendly to servers. :)

PHPlist seems to have the features plus the interface looks pretty good and it's free. You can get it at:

Any free mailing list script that offers personalized tags too? So that I can personlized the email that I will be sending out.

I tried copy the HTML code from Publisher 2003 into phplist ... doesn't work well. As we all know, open source or Free s/w does not gurantee have free support all along. :)

In normal web hosting package, web server and email server is together right ? but in my case ... the web server is with the web hoster, but the email hosting is not with them .. i hosted it internally in a Exchange 2003 Server. U got it ?
So if the web hosting party does not host my email, how to send email from there ? there is no MX record unless they point to us .

sending emails don't need to use your exchange. you just have to ensure that ppl somewhere in the world send u an email (to your domain), you're able to receive it. Meaning that your DNS server must have your email server entry and also your email server is connected to the internet to receive incoming email.
