I have tried to use joomla but find that its difficult for me to design my own websites. Have done it using DW but find that its not so friendly( more work to be done ).

Anyone has use any open source webdesign program that you think its easy to use and understand and also a good program as well.

Basically the website needs to be navigate easily, have lots of pictures that i need to change or edited easily, add or delete topics, browser can send email to friends or me. Its something like a blog site for browser to read.

Do you mean Content Management Systems such as Joomla! , Drupal?? and all those?

Not really. As long as it basically serve the website needs to be navigate easily, have lots of pictures that i need to change or edited easily, add or delete topics, browser can send email to friends or me.

Hi Adrian,

If your site is like a blog the best option is stick to easy-to-use wordpress.

If its more of a photo gallery, try http://gallery.menalto.com/

Other programs like joomla are drupal, geeklog, siteframe.

Wanted something like that for the photos/pictures but say was done by wordpress but don't look like blog. Thats what i wanted for my site. Is wordpress easier that Joomla?

Wordpress is much easier than joomla, Templates are fairly easy to install.
