Are any of you here using any other credit card processors besides paypal? If so, can you share your experience with them? Like how reliable they are and what I should take note of if I would like to apply for one.

I am considering using worldpay but do you think its worth the investment? all of my current clients are just paying by bank transfer as they are all local.

Is your turn-over high enough to cover the cost of worldpay's annual payment? Don't forget you lose the transaction fee too.

True. For small companies, seriously not possible. But for big companies, it would be more secure to go with WorldPay, considering they have it local too.

Are you be able to expound further and share you experience?
Indeed, PAYPAL ain't the best. But it is really ideal for smaller
firm using it. Be all and end all, it facilitate many teenage or colleague student to get things online due to loose restriction.

But it is ideal to market your product together with CC and PAYPAL.

what's CC? Credit card?

It happened when customer paid their items with paypal. Then when I gave them the tracking number, they reversed the payment.
Paypal said they will investigate, and it's always NO NEWS! Hence at the end of the say, like 5 days, the payment was being reversed. The buyer gets the good without paying in the end.

Escrow is better they say. It holds both parties assets and when it reaches Escrow, they den releases the assest to both sides.

But why do you need to give them the tracking number?
I know that both parties has a different set of reference number,
you should be not give it out.

Not only paypal, indeed, the rest of the credit card processor are the same when it comes to such situation, i.e. fraud, chargeback, refund, etc... they tend to protect the consumer more over merchant.

This happened to me once with an encounter with an Indonesia customer.

Since Indonesia is conisder as high risk area by paypal, the payment was revered back to the customer.

By then I had already create an account for him, so in the end, he said there is no other way he can paid and thus I loose one customer. :angryfire

Heard of, but no experience thus far.

Just be more careful of such payment system agent as they are like PAYPAL, which they do not even have a Merchant Account.

if you were the customer, would you also want the tracking number?
it's logic that you'll want it, right?

oh...and Indo us not covered under PP, so don't tread with them. They have MayBank i supposed. Use T/T instead. If they give you excuses. then you'll know you can forget about dealing with that person. 99.99% is fraud.

How inconvinient can it be to use T/T and go over to the bank??
